Van de Wetering has its own fleet of low loaders, semi-low loaders and vessel bed trailers. Our low loaders are built to our own specifications. Their low loading height makes them suitable for transporting tall objects. To provide additional clearance, the load can temporarily be lowered to approximately two centimetres above the ground. Based on the dimensions, weight and shape of your cargo, we determine which vehicle in our fleet is best suited to your transport.
Finding a suitable route for special transport involves more than calculating the distance. Bridges, overpasses, bends and narrow passages can restrict access. We therefore use our own database of clearance heights and widths, which is updated while on the road. If required, our escort drivers carry out a route survey in advance to identify potential obstacles.
